Jacob Troy has appeared on stage in such venues as the American Globe Theatre, Center Stage, Player's Theatre, Producer's Club, NY International Fringe Festival, Access Theater, Olney Theatre, Theatre at Monmouth, and on tour nationally with the National Players. Representative roles include Cassio (Othello), Prince Florizel (The Winter's Tale), Prince Hal (Henry IV, Part I), Prince Ferdinand (The Tempest), Lucentio (Taming of the Shrew), Orlando (As You Like It), Cannibal Ed (The Housewarming), The Soldier (No Entrance, directed by Sue Lawless).
He has also been working extensively in independent films. Jacob recently returned from Patagonia, Argentina where he starred in the upcoming feature film The Son of Tango Kid.
Jacob currently resides in Brooklyn, New York where he can be seen regularly performing original radio plays in front of a live studio audience. These performances are with the Private Ear Audio Theatre - a clever bunch out of Sarah Lawrence College where Jacob earned his Bachelor of Arts degree.
